AUTOMAILER

Instructions for using the Automailer programme

 

The process for sending the pre-prepared email to each of the Councillors and the Mayor is as follows:

Step 1

  • Click on the link https://autom.coolcloud.nz , this will direct you to our automailer web site, where you will need to register and enter a password to use this system.

Step 2

Click on the “Register” button;

  • Manually enter your first name, last name, [where two people are using the same email address, enter one person’s email address in the “First Name” field and the other person’s name in the “Last Name field”] and a password.
  • Click the eye at the end of the password box to view the password you
    have entered.
  • Make a record of your password as this will be needed for you to log into
    our auto-mailer system. It will be used for future emailing to Councillors.
    Click the “REGISTER” button. You will be taken to a new window.

Step 3

  • Click on the “PROCEED” button;
  • Login by entering the email address and password entered in Step 2;
    then click on the “LOGIN” button.

Step 4

  • Click on the blue “EMAIL TOOL” button;
  • Enter your address and locality in the fields on the right hand side;
  • Click the “terms of use” box;
  • Click on the blue “SEND EMAILS” button;
  • Click on the blue “OK” button;

The email will be sent to each of the councillors and Mayor listed in the box on the right hand side. Their names will turn green when the email is delivered. Wait until all are sent before exiting this window.

A copy of the email sent will be sent to you for your records. You will only be able to send the email once.

Finally, click on the “LOG OUT” button.
