The Western Bay of Plenty District Council is tasked with achieving community outcomes that will promote the social, economic, environmental and cultural-wellbeing in the present and the future.<\/strong><\/p>\n The unprecedented rate increases proposed in the AP\/LTP 2024-34 will result in the doubling of residential rates within 8 years and the trebling of commercial and industrial rates within 10 years.
